Pure cashmere blanket, handmade by me. I collect all my favourite patterns for these blankets. We often start a blanket with an idea of how we want it to look, and end up going down a completely different avenue by the time it’s all laid out.. so every blanket is unique and has its own theme. This blanket was designed around the bright patterns we’ve used in it. The acid green with metallic splatter, the pink zebra print, and of course the stars. We don’t come across these often so to use all them in one blanket feels extra luxurious! I’ve finished the blanket with a double layered cashmere border to add a little weight to it too. We’ve been so excited about these… I’ll never get tired of our classic plain fingerless gloves, but sometimes you need something really special to brighten your outfit(and day)🌞 The tropical, vaguely White Lotus themed print is my favourite. I’ve never seen anything like it on cashmere before 🐆🌺🌴🦜🦩

Some much needed colour in the form of cashmere, pretty skies and a whole lot of juice 🍊🍎 The last month has been busy enough to keep us out of the caravan and away from normal work.. I’ve missed my sewing machine and work more than I thought I would so very much looking forward to getting back to it. Now things have settled a little, we’re hoping to start preparing for the usual busy winter season and list the new prints and colours we’ve been collecting all spring!

Looking back over 2022… it was another fab year for the happy pigs! We are so grateful to all our lovely customers and it’s amazing to have so many cashmere lovers coming back for more. Summer was a scorcher, Royal Mail industrial was very challenging, several weeks of flu and colds right as December hit tested our small business to its limits. We are already preparing for next winter season and can’t wait to show you what new cashmere goodies we have planned. Here’s to a bigger and better 2023! Had to include White Lotus somehow- one of the many things that helped us get through the busy winter season 😖

Sewing away for the @yorksteinerschool Advent Fair this Saturday.. so many warm goodies being made. Getting more excited the closer we get to the day..

I love seeing that someone’s ordered a bright coloured pair. All the black/greys and beiges are classics but after the 10th pair it’s a refreshing and welcome change to need to make a golden yellow or aqua!

I’m excited to share that we’ve got fabric combs now! A fabric comb is a must if you have any wool or cashmere clothing. I come across discarded jumpers all the time that look too worn out to save, but after using a comb for a few minutes are like new again... so if you want to keep your favourite jumpers looking nice for years to come, get yourself a comb! Plus, it’s not just a comb… it’s a comb with a cute pig on it 🐷
